Magnetic separator mill is most useful for non-electric separator for separating iron from non-magnetic processed in bulk quantity for purity of end product, metal having commercial value. The crushed material from roller crusher which is the mixture of both metals contaminates & sand contaminates now fed through magnetic separator. As the material to evenly through a vibrating feeder falls over the drum, powerful magnetic field attracts & holds iron particles to the revolving shell & the sand contaminates falls freely from the shell while iron particles are automatically discharged at the other end. The permanent magnets used are everlasting & its strength does not diminish during the normal use.

The magnetic separator is one kind of efficient equipment for processing fine, feebly magnetic minerals, such as hematite, limonite, wolfram, limonite, and tantalum-niobium, etc. In recent years, it is also more and more applied in purifying quartz, fled spar and nephrite. Its magnetic system is a ring-shape chain closed magnetic circuit with energizing coils made of copper tube and cooled internally by water. It mainly consists of sorting ring, sealing system, driven system support and positioned wheel-set. When working, the swivel revolves clockwise, and the pulp ore will be sent from the feeder ,along the gap of fabric feed, flowing through the swivel , and the magnetic medium will be magnetized in the magnetic field, and the surface will form a high gradient magnetic field, the magnetic minerals will absorb on the surface of the medium, the then be sent into non-magnetic field by swivel , then be flushed into concentrated ore bucket ,and the non-magnetic particles will discharge from the tailings along the gap.
