Scheelite is a calcium tungstate mineral. It is an important ore of tungsten and has been synthesized via the Czochralski process. Scheelite occurs in contact metamorphic skarns; in high-temperature hydrothermal veins and greisen; less commonly in granite pegmatites. Now the material produced may be used to imitate diamond, as a scintillator, or as a solid state lasing medium.

Scheelite Concentrating Plant Flow
Commonly, scheelite is in mining sand form. If the Scheelite ore deposits is in exposed place, the productive Scheelite ore may be quite big, the excavator transport them to the Scheelite crushing plant, the Scheelite ore will flow to the hopper and the subsequent vibrating feeder will feed them to the jaw crusher steadily. In some designs, the crushed aggregates will be conveyed to transfer-station and then they will be carried to secondary crusher (cone crusher ). Discharged from the secondary crusher, the vibrating screen classify them to many kinds according to their size range and bigger ones be transported to crusher for crushing again.
The ball mill feeding size is about 0-15mm, in Scheelite dressing plants, the crushed Scheelite aggregates are fed to the ball mill or some other Scheelite grinding machines for Scheelite grinding process. The grinding machines grind the aggregates to tiny powders, like 0~0.01mm and even small.
The spiral classifier clean the tiny powders and classify the particles, big ones will be ground again, qualified particles will be conveyed to flotation machines and table-concentrator for thickening and high grade products are produced after dehydrating process. To some large scale producer, the raw ore will go through preconcentration process before grinding process. In this way, the scheelite recovery rate is able to meet 90%~96% and save the production cost.
