Environmental Regulations:

  1. Environmental Clearance (EC):

    • Stone crusher plants require environmental clearance from the State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) or Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC) based on the size and capacity of the project.
    • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) may be required for large projects.
  2. Compliance with the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981:
