  • Include pozzolanic materials like fly ash or silica fume (< 35% of cement weight) for enhanced durability, crack reduction, and sustainability.

6. Workability:

  • Slump value considerations for mining plants:
    • 30-75 mm for reinforced sections.
    • 75-150 mm where high workability is needed.

7. Aggregate Size Selection:

  • For structural components, maximum size of aggregate should generally be 20 mm.
  • For high-strength concrete, smaller aggregates (10-15 mm) can enhance strength and reduce voids.
