2. Screening (Optional After Jaw Crusher):
- Purpose: To sort and separate materials into different size ranges, with oversized pieces going back for further crushing.
- Process:
- Materials are passed through a vibrating screen.
- Screened fine materials may bypass further crushing, while larger particles are sent to the next crusher (cone crusher) for secondary crushing.
3. Secondary Crushing (Cone Crusher):
- Purpose: A cone crusher is used for secondary or fine crushing to further reduce the size of materials after jaw crushing.
- Process:
- Coarse materials from the jaw crusher are fed into the cone crusher, either directly or via a conveyor belt.
- The cone crusher crushes the materials between a moving cone and a stationary outer shell (mantle and concave).
- This stage produces smaller particles with improved uniformity in size and shape.
4. Screening (After Cone Crusher):
- Purpose: To ensure final output meets specifications by segregating materials based on size.
- Process:
- Materials from the cone crusher are passed through another vibrating screen.
- Oversized particles may be recirculated back to the cone crusher for further size reduction.
5. Stockpiling or Further Processing:
- Purpose: After reaching the desired size, processed materials are stockpiled for transport or additional processing.
- Process:
- Final materials that meet size requirements are sent to stockpiles or storage areas.
- These materials may also be further processed depending on project requirements (e.g., pulverizing or grinding).
Summary Workflow:
- Raw Material Feeding → Jaw Crusher → Coarse Material Screening → Cone Crusher → Final Screening → Stockpiling or Further Use.
